Linking to Zillow's calculator sends your buyer to Zillow.
On a PropertyFrame listing, this estimator lives on your site, pre-filled with the property's price and taxes, right next to your photos, facts and contact form. The lead comes to you, not to someone else's app.
Create your first listing siteHow this is calculated
The payment estimate uses the standard mortgage amortization formula on the loan principal (home price minus down payment), at the entered interest rate and term, then adds estimated monthly property tax and home insurance on top. It does not include HOA dues, PMI, or closing costs.
Where to put this on a listing
A payment estimator earns its spot near the price and the contact form. It turns "that's out of my range" into "what would that actually cost me a month," right where a buyer is deciding whether to reach out. Every PropertyFrame listing website includes one automatically, pre-filled from the listing's own price and tax data.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this mortgage calculator?
It uses the standard amortization formula lenders use for principal and interest, then adds the property tax and insurance you enter. It is an estimate: it does not include PMI, HOA dues, closing costs, or a lender’s actual underwriting, which can shift the real payment.
What is included in the monthly payment estimate?
Principal and interest on the loan amount (home price minus down payment), plus one-twelfth of the annual property tax and one-twelfth of the annual home insurance you enter. PMI and HOA dues are not included.
How does the down payment affect the monthly payment?
A larger down payment lowers the loan principal, which lowers both the interest charged and the principal paid each month. Moving from 10% down to 20% down on a typical loan noticeably reduces the principal-and-interest line, separate from whatever PMI a lender would otherwise charge below 20%.
Should I use a 15-year or 30-year term?
A 30-year term spreads the same loan over more payments, so each payment is lower but total interest paid is higher. A 15-year term raises the monthly payment but pays off the loan in half the time with substantially less total interest. Toggle the term above to compare both on the same price.
Can I put this calculator on my own real estate listing website?
Yes. Use the embed snippet below to drop this exact calculator into any listing page as an iframe, or publish a listing on PropertyFrame and it comes with this estimator already built in, pre-filled with that listing’s price and tax data.
Why not just link to Zillow’s or Bankrate’s calculator instead?
Linking out sends the buyer, and the lead, to someone else’s site. Embedding this calculator keeps the buyer on your listing page, next to your contact form, instead of handing them off to a competitor’s app.
