A random QR generator points at a URL and nothing else.

Every PropertyFrame listing has its QR code built in: on the flyer, the yard sign, and the page itself, always pointing at the live listing.

How the center mark works without breaking the scan

QR codes carry built-in error correction: at the highest level, roughly 30% of the code can be missing or covered and a scanner still reads it correctly. The three corner squares and the timing patterns around them have to stay untouched, since those are what a scanner uses to find the grid, but the data in the middle is redundant by design. The PropertyFrame mark covers about 11% of the grid, dead center, well inside that margin.

Frequently asked questions

Is this QR code generator really free?

Yes. The on-screen preview is free with no sign-up. Getting the print-ready file (a sharp vector SVG, suitable for yard signs and flyers) asks for an email first, which is what funds keeping this free.

Does the PropertyFrame mark in the middle stop it from scanning?

No. The file is generated at the highest QR error-correction level, which tolerates roughly 30% of the code being damaged or covered before it stops scanning. The center mark covers about 11% of the code, well inside that margin, and was confirmed against a real phone camera during testing, not just a QR-decoding library.

What format is the download?

An SVG, a vector file. Unlike a PNG, it stays perfectly sharp at any print size, from a business card to a yard sign, with no pixelation.

Can I use this for anything, not just a real estate listing?

Yes. Paste any URL or text and it generates a code for it. It is not tied to a PropertyFrame listing or account.

Why does it need my email at all?

The preview already proves the code works. The email is only required for the final print-quality file, the same trade PropertyFrame itself uses: see the price-gate on a listing.
